Literature Text

You are a hidden heartbeat,
A pale outline in a shadowed world.
Wrapped in the warmth of holding life,
Held in innocent fetters, locked behind pale walls.

Soon your prison will no longer be able to contain you,
You will be free, breathe your first true breath,
Share your only moment of true selfless love.

For now you spread your not yet formed wings,
And get lost in your shadow world dreams,
How I wish I could be dreaming with you.
... my ideas of the bird before it hatches...

What an innocent feel you kept within this poem. It would have been easy to lose that, but the line that truly keeps it in that innocent is the first line of the third stanza:

"For now you spread your not yet formed wings,".

I also love the reference, that at least I follow back to the Void, which is the second and third line of the third stanza:

"And get lost in your shadow world dreams,"
then...
"How I wish I could be dreaming with you."

"shadow world dreams" totally reminds me of the Void.

While...

"dreaming with you." totally reminds me of the aboriginal Dreamtime.

Great job!
